Bruce A. Elmore, Jr. has been with The Elmore Law Firm and a member of the North Carolina State Bar since 1976. He has handled a wide variety of cases including catastrophic injuries and deaths from trucking accidents, automobile accidents, motorcycle accidents, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries (TBI), railroad crossing accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, Cerebral palsy, Erb's palsy and nursing home negligence. Bruce has established record recoveries in a number of counties throughout Western North Carolina. He has also lectured at continuing legal education seminars on medical malpractice and constitutional law and has spoken to students at many of Buncombe County’s high schools on the legal process and the Bill of Rights. He is on the Board of the North Carolina ACLU and a past president of that organization. Bruce was born in Buncombe County, North Carolina, graduated from Asheville High School in 1970, received his B.A at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1974 and immediately returned to the Asheville/Western North Carolina area upon his graduation with a J.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School in 1976. Bruce is married and is the father of Scott and Becky and the grandfather of Jackson Elmore.

The Elmore Law Firm was founded by Bruce A. Elmore, Sr., who passed away on December 12, 2009. He obtained North Carolina’s first million dollar verdict and was a member of the Inner Circle of Advocates.
